UPI, bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS), all major debit and credit cards, and cash on departure for the balance. We issue a GST invoice for every booking — useful if you are claiming it as a corporate or institutional expense.

Cancel more than 15 days before departure and the advance is refunded in full, less bank charges. Between 15 and 7 days, 50% is refunded. Under 7 days, the advance is not refundable but it can be moved to any date within the same season. If the forest department closes the reserve, you get a full refund regardless of notice.

No. All prices on this site are exclusive of GST, which is levied at 5% on tour packages. The final figure on your invoice will show it as a separate line.

Standard pick-up is from Science City, Kolkata at 6:30 AM. We can also collect from Park Street, Esplanade, Howrah or Sealdah stations, or from the airport, at no extra cost if arranged in advance.

Yes. Take a local train from Sealdah South to Canning (about 70 minutes), then a shared auto or car to Godkhali jetty (45 minutes). Tell us and we will reduce the transport component from your fare and meet you at the jetty instead.

Kolkata to Godkhali is roughly 100 km and takes two and a half to three hours, with one tea stop. The road is good for most of the way and narrow for the last stretch.

Air-conditioned cottages at Pakhiralaya or Satjelia with attached western bathrooms, running hot water, 24-hour power backup and mosquito nets. Clean, comfortable and simple. The Luxury Delta Cruise instead puts you in a cabin on our private double-decker launch.

Bengali home cooking — rice, dal, seasonal vegetables, river fish, chicken, and crab or prawn on the longer trips. Breakfast is usually luchi-tarkari or bread and eggs. Vegetarian and Jain menus are prepared on request; tell us when you book.

Signal is reliable at the villages (Jio and Airtel work best) and patchy to absent inside the forest, which most guests come to appreciate. All our cottages have electricity with inverter backup, and charging points on the boats.

Every boat is licensed and inspected by the forest department each season. Life jackets are carried for every passenger including child sizes, decks are railed, and a first-aid trained crew member travels on all departures.

Across a full season our guests report a sighting on roughly one trip in six, higher in December and January. Nobody can promise more than that honestly. Deer, wild boar, crocodiles, water monitors, macaques and a great deal of birdlife are near-certain on every trip.

No. Drones are prohibited throughout the tiger reserve, and carrying one can result in confiscation and a fine. Still and video cameras are fine; a small camera fee applies at Sajnekhali.

Muted colours — olive, khaki, grey, brown. Avoid bright white, red and strong perfume. Bring a wind layer even in summer, because open water is cold at 6 AM, plus a hat, sunscreen and mosquito repellent.

Yes. We have hosted guests from four years old to eighty-six. The only physical demand is the watchtower stairs, which is entirely optional, and the boat has seating and shade throughout.
